LCI members conduct a wide range of research projects, some of which are featured below. More projects are listed on the homepages of center members listed on the People page.
Wordplay
Wordplay.dev is an open educational programming language for creating expressive, interactive typography in all of the world’s written language. With communities of students and teachers, we are exploring education justice from language, ability, cultural, and economic lenses, trying to create programmable media in which all of the world’s youth can create and learn. See Wordplaypen for ways to engage and contribute, or write Amy to learn more.
Infinicard
Infinicard is a new, intelligent medium for creating interactive applications, intended to make it easy for anyone to design, develop, and share software. We are inspired by Hypercard, and the project attempts to answer the question: “If you were going to create Hypercard today, with all the advancements we’ve made in computer vision, natural language processing, and program synthesis, what would that be?” This project is in its early stages. Contact Ben or Sam to learn more.
